Job Title: Project Associate

Department: Mechanical Engineering

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors or Masters in Bio Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering having Bio Mechanical Engineering knowledge. (Fresher’s & experienced both can apply).
• Experience in Bio Mechanical study, Data analysis, Design upgradation of Mechanical system with Ergonomics study and Prototype development is desirable.
• Experience in Data collection with Bio Mechanical sensors will be highly useful but not mandatory.
• Experience in rural development sector will be highly useful but not mandatory.
• Passion to work in Bio Mechanical Engineering development sector is a must. Candidates aspiring for PhD may have an opportunity to enrol in IIT Madras while working for RuTAG.
• Passionate about learning things.

Tenture of the Project:

Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day activities of RuTAG and will report to the Project Investigator.
• Responsible to study, analyse, design and develop Prototype of Mechanical systems.
• Review, collect and write technical reports based on Bio Mechanical study.
• Willing to do fieldwork (interacting with the users, fabricators, design experts)

Job Location:

Chennai, Tamilnadu

Pay Scale:

Rs.21,500/- to Rs.30,000/- Per month (Depending on qualification/previous work experience)
