IIT DHARWAD is presently situated in Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) Campus [135 acres in area] located on the National Highway (NH-4) connecting Pune and Bengaluru. All the major facilities in Dharwad are within 10 km radius from the campus. WALMI has generously provided several buildings for the student hostels, class rooms, laboratories, etc. for IIT DHARWAD.

Job Title: Project Associate – I

Employment Type: Temporary

Department: Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, IIT Dharwad

Project Duration: 6 Months

Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or medicine from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable: B. Tech. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering with experience in Communications Engineering and Embedded Programming

Job Description: Implementation of the DVB-S2/X communication standard in Verilog, porting the code onto an FPGA, and testing it on software-defined radio
