Title of the Project:

Geochronology and Geoarchaeology of Palaeolithic sites from Southeast Andhra Pradesh

Eligibility:

The applicant must hold a M.A. or M.Sc. degree in Archaeology, Ancient History, or Culture and Archaeology from a recognized university/institution with a strong academic record. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required from the undergraduate level onwards, and at least 55% or equivalent grade must have been secured in both 10th and 12th standards. Preference will be given to candidates who possess relevant research or laboratory experience following their degree. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on experience in sample preparation, laboratory procedures, analytical methods, and the use of relevant scientific equipment and software. Proficiency in interpreting analytical results is essential.

The candidate must also possess strong communication skills in English and be capable of writing reports independently and contributing effectively to collaborative research tasks.

Duration:

The initial appointment will be for 1 year, extendable for one more year based on performance.

Consolidated Salary Range:

INR 45,000 to INR 70,000 per month
