"Project Associate – I"

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as Project Associate – I in the MeitY-sponsored Project under Chips to Startup (C2S) Scheme titled "Design and development of UWB Hospital asset tracking system SOC- UHATS" in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Puducherry Technological University.

Number of positions available: TWO

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ M.E. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering /VLSI / or related area with first class. GATE/NET. Working/research experience in the field of VLSI system design will be given preference.

Fellowship: 31,000 per month + HRA as per norms (for project tenure of maximum five years) for GATE/NET qualified candidates; 25,000 per month + HRA as per norms (for project tenure of maximum five years) for other candidates.

General Terms and Conditions: The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of five years. The position is co-terminus with the project. M.E/M.Tech Candidates selected for this position can apply for the regular PhD program in Puducherry Technological University provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD program in ECE department of PTU.

Completely filled, signed application form must be submitted as per the template provided. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview. Attested photocopies of these documents will be collected at the time of interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
