Job Title: Project Associate I, Project Associate I, Administrative Assistant

Title: Project Associate I- Identification of Lead Molecules for development of novel therapeutic strategies against viruses; Project Associate I- Establishment of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre (BIC) for Viral Bioinformatics at SPPU; Administrative Assistant- Establishment of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre (BIC) for Viral Bioinformatics at SPPU

Qualifications: For Project Associate I: Master’s Degree in Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics/ any other Master’s degree related to Biology & IT OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (with specialisation in Bioinformatics/ related to Biology & IT) from a recognised University or Organization. Prior experience in computational biology is desirable. For Administrative Assistant: Graduate Degree in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of providing administrative assistance in academic/research organisations.

Project Duration: 1 year (might be extended upto the tenure of the Project depending on satisfactory performance)

Job Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Project Fellowship: (i) Rs. 31,000 P.M. + HRA to Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others. Administrative Assistant- Rs. 18,000 P.M. + HRA
