Organization Profile: Sikkim University presently located at Gangtok, the capital town of Sikkim operates from several hired buildings located along NH-10. The main administrative office of the University is located at Samdur, 6th Mile, Tadong. The permanent campus of the University is coming up at Yangang in South Sikkim. The nearest airport and railway station are Bagdogra and New Jalpaiguri respectively.

Job Title: Project Associate-I

Employment Type: Temporary

Title: Science Technology and Innovation Hub in fringe villages of Khangchendzonga National Park (KNP) UNESCO World Heritage site, Yuksam and Tashiding Block, West District, Sikkim State

Qualifications: First class Master Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture/Life science with ASRB-NET/ CSIR- NET. Desirable: Knowledge/experience on Hill agriculture

Job Location: Gangtok, Sikkim

Duration: Initially the assignment is for a period of 6 (Six) months (will be extended based on the performance till the termination of project). Candidate should be willing to extensively travel to the villages of Yuksom and Tashiding block of Geyzing District, Sikkim.

Remuneration: Rs. 25000+ HRA for the candidate without NET
