"Project Associate II, Project Associate I, Project Assistant and Professional Assistant"

Anna University, Chennai, is seeking candidates for the positions of Project Associate II, Project Associate I, Project Assistant, and Professional Assistant. These are temporary positions in the Environmental Studies department, related to projects on Solid Waste Management, including reclamation of dumping grounds and biomining.

Essential Qualifications:

• Project Associate II (Senior): Ph.D. in Environmental Science or M.E. in Environmental Engineering/Management with at least 2 years of experience in Bio-mining and Environmental Field Works.
• Project Associate II (Junior): Ph.D. in Environmental Science or M.E. in Environmental Engineering/Management, with priority for experience in Bio-mining and Environmental Field Works.
• Project Associate I: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Environmental Science, with priority for experience in Environmental Field Works.
• Project Assistant: B.Com. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, with priority for experience in computer knowledge, typewriting, and documentation.
• Professional Assistant III: Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with at least two years of experience in Survey/Construction sites.

Pay Scale:

• Project Associate II (Senior): Rs. 30,000/-
• Project Associate II (Junior): Rs. 22,000/-
• Project Associate I: Rs. 18,000/-
• Project Assistant: Rs. 16,000/-
• Professional Assistant III: Rs. 15,000/-

The project duration is up to six months, extendable based on performance.
