Project Title: Investigation on the effectiveness of eggshell bio-waste for multistage water purification

Description: (i) Synthesis and characterization of porous covalent organic frameworks (COFs); (ii) Application of COFs and eggshell biowaste for the removal of heavy metal water contaminant; (iii) Exploring removal efficiency of a prototype portable water purifier packed with COFs and eggshell biowaste; (iv) Investigation on the effectiveness of eggshell biowaste over the charcoal filter in a multi-stage water purification

Essential Qualifications: 60% in M.Sc. (Chemistry/Applied Chemistry) / M. Tech. (Materials Science / Materials science & Technology) from a recognized University / Institutes or Equivalent

Age limit: 35 years

Candidate Profile: Candidate should complete their PG in relevant specialization with First class. The candidate should have good communication skills. Commitment to work.

Job Location: Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 /month for NET/GATE qualified candidates; Rs. 25,000 /month for non-NET/GATE qualified candidates
