Project Coordinator (m/f/d) for the Education & Training area of the Einstein Center for Early Disease Interception (EC-EDI) with expected 50 %part-time employment - E 13 TV-L HU (third-party funding limited to 3 years)
The EC-EDI is seeking to appoint a dedicated Project Coordinator for Education / Training at the earliest possible date to support the design, coordination, and implementation of an innovative cross-institutional education and training program in the field of cell-based interceptive medicine.
The Education & Training program brings together single-cell and spatial technologies, data science and machine learning, translational and clinical perspectives, entrepreneurship, and science communication. It fosters interdisciplinary skills, strengthens collaboration across institutions, and helps position Berlin as a leading centre for innovation and training in cell-based interceptive medicine.
This position will play a key role in the development, organizational coordination and strategic advancement of this new educational field in close collaboration with partner institutions across Berlin.
Job description:
- Development and further advancement of the cross-institutional EC-EDI Education & Training Program
- Conceptualization, organization, delivery, evaluation, and further development of training events, workshops, and summer schools, as well as contribution to the development and implementation of a cross-institutional curriculum and new teaching modules
- Coordination and networking with the participating partner institutions and groups of experts
- Support for reporting, milestone tracking, and administrative program management
- Coordination of internal and external communication in the Education & Training area
Requirements:
- completed academic university degree in a relevant field of natural sciences, life sciences, medicine, or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Very good understanding of the interface between biomedicine, data science, clinical research, and translational medicine
- proven experience in project management and in coordinating complex projects, ideally across institutions
- experience in teaching, academic continuing education, curriculum development, or training coordination is an advantage
- ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders from science, administration, and external partner organizations
- excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English (both at least C1-level)
- confident and polished style in scientific and administrative correspondence
- proficient use of common digital work and communication tools
- strong communication, facilitation, and networking skills
- independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- strong organizational skills, resilience, and confidence in managing multiple parallel processes
