Project Coordinator

Duties:
- Coordinates all activities related to the project(s).
- Interfaces and serves as liaison with Campus, College, and Department administrations to accomplish project(s) outcomes.
- Writes and proofreads messaging for print and digital publications, to include but not limited to website content, new and feature articles, blogs, social media posts.
- Writes original content by creatively compiling information collected through research, interviewing, and gathering materials from the requested party.
- Ensures the messaging is accurate, clear, and fits within branding guidelines.
- Conduct interviews, collect data, and information needed to accurately and credibly craft messages.
- Works with requesting parties to ensure understanding project needs and gather a sense of the target audience.
- Attends meetings and workgroup sessions.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position.
Job Requirements
Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 24 months of project management or related experience.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in copy writing, editing, proofreading and composition. Knowledge of different media sites and sources. Ability to be organized and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Interpersonal skills.
Certifications: None.
Working Conditions: Communicate effectively. Sit for prolonged periods. Frequent keyboarding. Ability to engage in repetitive motions. Requires Contact with other departments. Highly organized.
