Offer Description
Power Systems group announces a position as Project Engineer (R1) to work on different technical research activities in the fields of Data Management, Communications, AI and Cybersecurity of Smart Grids. The tasks to be carried out will be focused to development and programming of tools to increase smart grid intelligence. Additionally, experimental activities and set ups within IREC’s lab facilities are expected.

Essential:

- Interest on energy and smart grid related issues
- Knowledge and experience on Network management
- Knowledge and experience with the following software:
- Docker
- AIRFLOW
- Python, Java
- DataBases
- GIT
- other
Preferred (not all):
- Experience in collaborative and international projects
- Experience/knowledge in cybersecurity
- Knowledge on Machine Learning, or other AI techniques
