"Project Manager Computational Pathology"

Job Summary: Contribute to groundbreaking research in artificial intelligence for healthcare by managing research projects at national and international levels. Initially cover maternity leave for specific projects, then continue with ongoing initiatives. This is a one-year position with possible extension.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support the planning, execution, and timely completion of research projects.
• Contribute to resource planning, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure financial reports from partners are delivered on time and correctly reported to the EU.
• Handle project legal and ethical documentation, as well as reporting processes.
• Ensure milestones are met and standards are upheld.
• Work closely with researchers, clinicians, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Act as a contact for research consortia, fostering relationships and coordinating joint efforts.
• Support meetings organization, especially the Bigpicture Annual Meeting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in a research or academic setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and flexibly manage various project elements simultaneously.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a problem-solving approach.
• Proficient in English and preferably also in Dutch.

What the Employer Offers:

• Fixed-term contract: 1 year with prospect of extension.
• Gross monthly salary between €3,598 and €5,669 for full-time employment (36 hours per week).
• 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
