Project Manager-SEALC Phase II
The Project Manager for the Southeast Asian Language Council (SEALC) is a 50% position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Southeast Asian Language Council (SEALC), established in 2018, is a national organization dedicated to strengthening Southeast Asian (SEA) language education in the US. SEALC’s mission is to enhance scholarly infrastructure, develop innovative teaching resources, and professionalize SEA language educators. The project manager has primary responsibility for day-to-day administration of SEALC programs and management of a four-year grant-funded project, “Toward Sustainable Southeast Asian Language Education: Collaboration, Access, and Capacity Building.” This project aims to institutionalize SEALC’s role by strengthening networks and partnerships through collaboration, facilitating and expanding access to Southeast Asian language instruction for students, and building capacity and community throughout the pipeline of instructors. The SEALC Project Manager is a fixed term, terminal position that will extend to August 31, 2029.
