Job Title: Project Research Scientist-I

Title: Roles of folic acid on the expression and regulation of FOXP2 in Fl progeny of perinatal folic acid fed pregnant mouse

Duration of the Project: Two years. The initial appointment of the Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) is one year and may be extended after satisfactory work/research progress.

Nature of the Post: Purely temporary and essentially co-terminus with the project’s tenure.

Essential Qualifications: First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree (Master’s degree in Zoology/Biochemistry/ Bioscience/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology and other relevant courses). Second Class Post Graduate Degree (Master’s degree in Zoology/Biochemistry/ Bioscience/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology and any other relevant courses), including the integrated PG degree with PhD.

Desirable: Candidates with research experience and research publications in neuroscience may be preferred.

Age Limit: The upper age limit of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) is 35 years.

Consolidate Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 56000 with 9% HRA (Rs 61040)
