Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) is an institution of National Importance under an Act of Parliament. It offers B.Tech. courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science Engineering (CSE), M.Tech. courses in CSE and ECE, and runs Ph.D. programmes in ECE, CSE, Mathematics, and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). IIITG started operations in August 2013 with B.Tech programmes in CSE and ECE.

Research Position: Project Associate-I, Project Assistant, and Internship

Project Brief: The project is to develop an IoT-based product for healthcare applications. It consists of an IoT device connected to a Cloud Server and Edge device. The IoT device includes several sensors, mechanical modalities, and connecting interfaces (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc.). A mobile application for the edge device will operate and monitor the IoT device, analyze sensor data, and display results. All data will be stored in the cloud for analytics. A web-based full-stack software solution will be developed.
