Job Title: Project Staff (Senior Research Scientist)

Title of the project: Development and Standardization of Biochar and By-products for Application in the Indian Iron & Steel Industry

Tenure of Project: The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project which is sanctioned for a period of THREE YEARS.

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in the area of “Thermochemical conversion of biomass, Biofuels, Biochar application in Iron and Steel Industry” etc.; With M.E/M.Tech in Fuel Engg./ Energy Engg. with BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/ Mineral/Energy. OR Having 5 years of research and development experience after M.E/M.Tech in Fuel Engg with BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/ Mineral/Energy, along with at least one research paper in SCI journal.

Desirable Qualification: 5 SCI papers in international journal of repute.

Job Description: All routine jobs and research work related to the project, including report preparation, paper and patent writing.

Fellowship: JRF: ₹ 1,50,000/- for initial 6 months; Rs 1,25,000/- for next 18 months; and Rs 1,25,000/- for next 12 months, + HRA.
