Job Title: Project Technical Support-III (Research) PTSIII

Title of project: Examining the acceptance of the Community Health Workers’ (CHWs) roles in rural and urban India and gaining insights into the challenges and/or solutions they experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Exploring the potential application of CHWs in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Funding Agency: Research Nova Scotia, Canada (in collaboration with Dalhousie University)

Department: Rufaida College of Nursing

School: School of Nursing Sciences & Allied Health

Monthly remuneration: Rs 35,000/- (consolidated) per month.

Tenant: 07 months or on completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Essential qualifications:

• Graduate/ Post Graduate degree in any subject.
• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending and writing Hindi and English.
• Good knowledge and proficiency of computer applications

Experience requirements, if any: Preferable in the relevant field.

Appointment in project will be purely on temporary basis. There is no guarantee of job in Jamia Hamdard or admission to PhD programme in Jamia Hamdard on the basis of appointment in the project. Temporary appointment in projects will also be not counted for experience purpose for jobs in Jamia Hamdard. Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the project. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in Jamia Hamdard. Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project. The prescribed essential/desirable qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of same does not entitle candidates to be considered in each stage of the selection process. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer. Only short-listed candidates will be informed by email and/or telephonically for interview.
