We are looking for 1 current AUT student to promote the NZUni Talent job board to students at AUT for 2025 and potentially 2026.
Position Purpose:
- To promote NZUni Talent (The university job board) to students at AUT.
- To raise awareness of the purpose and benefits to student/graduate job seekers of visiting of the job board.
- To drive engagement amongst students (logins and job views).
Key responsibilities
- To become an expert in using the NZUni Talent jobs board by attending the induction session and developing knowledge through using the site yourself.
- Generate ideas on how to promote the jobs board to AUT students and increase the number of students visiting the site and viewing jobs.
- Attend AUT events to represent NZUni Talent.
- Produce at least one piece of digital content for the promotion of the platform (videos, social media posts, PDF flyer, presentation slides, etc).

- Must be a currently enrolled AUT student.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and build a good rapport with your peers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, reliable, and flexible.
- Comfortable addressing groups of your peers in person or virtually.
- A high degree of cultural sensitivity
- Membership or actively engaged with student clubs, societies, or informal student groups
- Digital marketing skills or design skills

Job Location: On City Campus, predominantly attending Career Expos and events that students attend. At North and South campuses as required.

Position Status: Fixed term

Salary Range: $27.80 p/hour.
Hours of work: Flexible hours - Approx. 4-5 hours per week for 6 weeks during each semester.
