Property Facilities Manager

About the role

Imperial College London is seeking a Property Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of buildings across our campuses. This role is key to ensuring that facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational in support of teaching, research and wider campus activity. As a key point of contact for building-related matters, you will work closely with colleagues, contractors and specialist teams to maintain high standards and deliver an effective facilities management service.

You will coordinate maintenance activities across a portfolio of buildings, ensuring issues are identified, prioritised and resolved efficiently through CAFM systems and effective contractor management. The role includes carrying out inspections, monitoring asset performance and supporting the operational readiness of building systems. You will also oversee health and safety, compliance and contractor performance, ensuring all works are delivered in line with statutory and organisational requirements. In addition, you will support team supervision, reporting and service performance monitoring, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement across facilities management services.

We expect you to hold a relevant professional qualification at Level 3 or above, or be willing to work towards one. You should also have a recognised Health & Safety qualification, or demonstrate a willingness to achieve this.

The role is on-site only, and the working hours are 35 hours per week.
