ROLE of the POSITION
The Prospect Development Analyst plays a vital role in advancing fundraising efforts by serving as a strategic partner to frontline fundraisers, Colleges, Schools, and administrative units. This position identifies, assesses, and qualifies major gift prospects through in-depth research and data analysis to expand and prioritize the donor pipeline. The Analyst manages and optimizes the prospect management system, maintains data integrity within the donor CRM, and ensures timely, accurate deliverables by coordinating with internal stakeholders. The role regularly monitors and reports on fundraising activity for accuracy and alignment with Prospect Management Guidelines, while providing actionable insights to support donor engagement, inform fundraising strategy, and drive prospects through the giving cycle.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1-2 years of prospect development-related experience in a development, advancement services, fundraising, or nonprofit setting.

SALARY
The salary range for the Prospect Management Analyst is $65,000 - $70,000. Salary is competitive with those at similarly situated institutions.
