PT - Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Salary
$15.15 per hour
Summary of Function
This position will be responsible for assisting the head men's basketball coach in the areas of recruitment & scouting, coaching, game & practice planning, statistics, and the academic success of student-athletes, as well as the general program administration.
Typical Duties
- Serves Students. Assists the head coach with organizing practices and game plans.
- Assist the Head Coach with coordinating and scheduling team travel and recruiting activities.
- Assist the Head Coach with financial aid and eligibility matters for student-athletes.
- Supports and participates in strategic initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports and participates in strategic planning initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Applicants may indicate any additional language proficiencies in their application materials, including English/Spanish, as relevant to the position
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved may be considered
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Arizona Driver's License or Equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed academically and athletically
- Ability to work effectively with the head coach, administration, faculty, students, and alumni
