Salary: $15.15 per hour
Summary of Function:
The Dual Credit Outreach Specialist is responsible for promoting and expanding dual credit programs by engaging with high schools, students, parents, and community organizations. This role focuses on increasing awareness and participation in dual credit opportunities, ensuring students have access to college-level courses while still in high school.
Typical Duties:
- Serves Students. Serves Students. Assist prospective dual credit students with the application and registration process, ensuring they understand the requirements and deadlines. Utilize CRM Recruit to manage application data, enabling the identification and outreach to prospective students.
- Identify and recruit high school students for dual credit programs, providing guidance on enrollment and academic requirements. Manage and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content, to promote dual credit opportunities.
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and informational sessions to educate stakeholders about the benefits and processes of the AWC dual credit program. Provides support to the Outreach and Recruitment team as needed with community outreach and campus tours. May include evening and weekend events.
- Organize and participate in college fairs, school visits, and community events to promote Arizona Western College's dual credit opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with high school administrators, counselors, teachers, and community partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for dual credit inquiries from assigned high schools and provide timely information to all stakeholders.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A combination of higher education coursework and prior experience in engaging with high school and/or college students within Yuma/La Paz Counties

Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Arizona Driver's License or Equivalent

Position Type & Work Schedule:
- Part-time
- Up to 19 hours per week
- Work flexible schedule to meet the program, department, and/or institutional needs, which may include Fridays, nights, and/or weekends
