Job Summary

The Chabot - Las Positas Community College District is seeking a Part-Time Instructor, Animation for Chabot Colleges Animation program adjunct pool. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Animation with an emphasis in 3D Animation.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teach day and evening courses offered in concept art, storyboarding, hand drawn animation, 2D digital Animation, and 3D animation, and Motion Graphics;
2. Assignment includes creating a syllabus, teaching the course, evaluating students, and supporting student film submissions to the Chabot College Film & Animation Festival;
3. Participate in supporting students educational planning and transfer opportunities;
4. Participate in the development and furthering of departmental and college goals through course development and student engagement.
