"PT POOL - Microbiology Instructor"

Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) is one of the most established districts in the state and has been in operation for nearly 50 years. Located in the heart of Orange County, it serves a population of more than 700,000 residents in various communities.

The Division seeks to establish a roster of eligible candidates for part-time, temporary, hourly teaching positions during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters as needed.

General Responsibilities: Teach all assigned classes, maintain accurate records, assist in maintaining course outlines, and participate in department committees.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in any biological science, or Bachelor's degree in any biological science and Master's in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science, or equivalent qualifications.

Additional Qualifications: Experience teaching Introductory Microbiology and Applied Microbiology, teaching diverse students, and knowledge of student learning outcomes.
