SUMMARY
Provides program administration, supervision of a specific program(s); may also involve supervision of program participants and assessing/advising participants. Provides program marketing and recruitment strategies creating/revising program curricula; monitor business/industry trends; partnerships with business, industry, community agencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist Program Director in the management of the program as needed.
- Develop marketing plans and strategies to promote courses and to increase enrollment in the program.
- Collaborate with staff and other Program Directors as necessary.
- Develop, implement and monitor new programs based on community and business needs and input.
- Define resources and schedule for implementation of the program.
- Supervise the project team and manage conflicts as they occur.
- Assess team and evaluate their performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implementation plans for improvement
- Facilitate customized training needs as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE
3 years experience in office operations required, including supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Familiarity with and sensitivity to culturally diverse populations.
- Knowledge or familiarity with the following computer applications:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Web Browsers
- Major online course management system (CMS)
- Major enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications
- Excellent organization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to form effective partnerships and alliances to achieve common goals.
- Able to work with a diverse student population, multiple communities and public agencies
- Able to manage complex processes.
- Familiarity with on-line technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and creative in managing projects and identifying solutions to complex problems.

WORKING CONDITIONS
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
