Job Description
SUNY Westchester Peekskill seeks a Part-Time Teacher Assistant/Figure Model to participate in an intensive summer figure drawing class. This course requires nude modeling for both quick and long form poses. Ability to provide full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses as required by the instructor. Models may be used in a variety of arts courses at the Center of the Digital Arts including but not limited to Drawing1, Illustration and 2D Animation Certificate, and Painting and Drawing for Adults. A wide range of model types are encouraged to apply. An awareness of classic and traditional poses in the visual art tradition preferred. Work is performed under supervision of the class instructor during class hours.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The incumbent must be a minimum of eighteen years old, and possess a High School or equivalency diploma.
Additional Information
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $20 per hour. No benefits.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: The position will remain open until filled.
