Position Summary
The Department of Health Professions at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Public Health.

MSU Denver enrolls over 17,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. Located in downtown Denver, we are a designated Hispanic Serving Institution. We serve the most diverse undergraduate student population in the state.
Responsibilities
- Teach 3 or more credit hours in areas such as Principles of Public Health, Global Health Systems, Health Behavior Theory, Introduction to Epidemiology, Community Health Assessment, Environmental Issues in Public Health, Health Policy, Health Program Planning, Implementing, and Evaluation, Fundamentals of Community Health Worker, and Advanced Community Health Worker.
- Available for consultation with students.
An affiliate faculty member's duties include teaching assigned classes in person or online, preparing course materials, grading student work, providing feedback, addressing student questions, and complying with university policies.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree plus four years of relevant work experience; or dissertation complete with defense pending; or doctorate degree; or professional degree.
Terms of Employment
Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis. They are not eligible for benefit coverage.
Salary for Announcement
