Curriculum:
The curriculum is designed to help each doctoral student develop and use appropriate theoretical and analytical approaches to solve problems in policy areas such as education, innovation and entrepreneurship, labor markets, health and social policy, immigration, environment, national security, international development, and global health.

- At least two Letters of Recommendation from faculty members familiar with your academic ability are strongly preferred but not required. For applicants with substantial work experience after college, letters from individuals who can describe applicant's ability to be successful in doctoral level work may be substituted.
- Statement of Purpose: Applicants should state their specific policy field of interest, describe their motivation and explain the fit with the department's areas of faculty expertise.
