Job Description

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for effectively working with University departments on the requisition process, and creating purchase orders while using analytical skills to identify mistakes and inefficiencies. The Purchasing Coordinator will setup all new vendors and serve as administrator for the University Procurement Card program.

Preferred Qualifications

preferred bachelor degree in business or related field; *5+ years effective and relevant purchasing responsibility or an equivalent combination of education and experience; *computer experience in Ellucian Colleague preferred, Microsoft Office; *ability to make decisions in accordance with procedures, laws and regulations and to apply these to work problems.
