Brunel University London is now recruiting a Quality Assurance Officer (Brunel Medical School and External Examining) to deliver critical administrative processes to ensure the effective delivery of quality assurance processes across the University. The role is split between responsibilities for the Brunel Medical School’s internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements; and delivering taught External Examiner processes institution wide. Working closely with academic and professional services staff, the postholder contributes to the management of quality data, supports key governance and review activities, and delivers an efficient, responsive service to both internal and external stakeholders.
It is anticipated that, in general, 60% of the role will be focused on administration and support for the Brunel Medical School and 40% on taught External Examiner administration, with priorities adjusted during peak periods to meet service requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified administrative professional, ideally with experience of working in a complex administrative role in education. The successful candidate will need to have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders.
