Duties & Responsibilities:
The instructor will supervise an open laboratory time for students and perform the following duties:
- Demonstrate Procedures: Show proper patient positioning and equipment operation using energized and non-energized X-ray labs
- Supervise Practice: Guide small student groups through hands-on psychomotor skill training.
- Enforce Safety: Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety rules and patient care standards.
- Coordination with faculty: Collaborate with course faculty to ensure the appropriate coordination and bridging between classroom theories and clinical applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree
- Current radiography certification by ARRT
- 3 years clinical experience as a diagnostic radiographer
- Master’s degree or higher
- 10 years’ experience as a diagnostic radiographer
- 3 years’ experience as a collegiate educator in radiologic sciences
