Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray & CT | Evening Shift

If you’re a Radiologic Technologist who enjoys the variety of X-ray and CT and thrives in a hands-on hospital environment, Upson Regional Medical Center has an opportunity for you.

We’re looking for an evening-shift Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. This role is primarily focused on X-ray and CT imaging, giving you the opportunity to put both skill sets to work while caring for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. 

What You’ll Do

Your primary focus will be delivering quality diagnostic imaging through X-ray and CT, with additional responsibilities supporting fluoroscopy and OR procedures.

• Perform and process high-quality digital X-ray exams
• Perform CT exams, including non-contrast and contrasted studies
• Safely administer contrast and start IVs
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopy and invasive procedures in the OR
• Utilize portable X-ray and OR C-arm equipment
• Acquire accurate patient histories
• Process and retrieve imaging records through PACS and Meditech
• Follow ALARA principles and established safety practices
• Provide patient-centered care across a wide range of ages 

The position's essential functions are specifically weighted toward X-ray and CT, with each accounting for 40% of the role. 

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree
• CT certificate program
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• CT certification preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of radiology experience
• Two or more years of hospital radiology experience preferred
