Job Duties:

Develops and implements recruitment plans, organizes events, recruits and trains staff and volunteers, evaluates admissions applications, and represents the institution to prospective graduate program students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day management and maintenance of the CRM system in conjunction with other admission, marketing tools and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot)
  • Plan and coordinate recruitment activities and events, document and analyze effective strategies in terms of yield
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  • Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
  • Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
  • Counsels prospective and admitted graduate students on educational planning and career opportunities
  • Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications for admission to a graduate program according to established policies and procedures
  • Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
  • Conducts recruitment trainings as necessary for graduate chairs and/or other constituents in conjunction with the AVC of Graduate Studies
  • Oversees the Graduate Studies website using best practices in graduate enrollment and serves as a consultant in support of graduate programs’ websites
  • Collaborates with the AVC of Graduate Studies to create graduate enrollment reports from existing dashboards, analyze enrollment trends, and create targeted strategies to support enrollment growth

Department: Office of Graduate Studies

Compensation: Annual Salary: $50,895. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three years of student or customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, higher education, business, or related field
  • Experience with student focused programming and continuous improvement in a higher education environment
  • Experience in marketing, branding, and/or public relations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills in working with a diverse community
  • Experience using and/or developing software applications such as CRM, Student Information Systems, and proficiency in a variety of standard business software programs (Word, Excel, etc.), and the internet
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize work, and to work both independently and as part of a team environment
  • Proficiency in a foreign language

Conditions of Appointment: This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting request. The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the off-site locations based on operational needs. Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct.
