1. Effectively manage a portfolio of philanthropic prospects to secure annual, leadership, major, and deferred gifts in support of attainable yet challenging fundraising and engagement goals.
2. Build and effectively maintain plans related to travel, face-to-face meetings, and event facilitation, working closely with colleagues and volunteers when appropriate.
3. Create written proposals, cases for support, gift agreements, and other materials to engage individuals, foundations, and corporations in support of university priorities.
4. Leverage performance metrics guided by annual and strategic goals and build momentum around regular activity and achievements.
5. Cultivate and steward donor relationships in a way that requires the highest standards of professional conduct and respect to ensure increased philanthropic support and engagement.
