Regional Manager
About the role
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Regional Manager to lead the delivery of CareerTrackers programs across a defined geographic region.
This role is responsible for driving strong outcomes across student engagement, internship participation, retention, graduation, and employment conversion. Leading a team of Senior Career Development Managers and Career Development Advisors, you will ensure high-quality advising support, effective workforce pipeline management, and strong alignment between student aspirations and employer opportunities.
The Regional Manager plays a critical leadership role in strengthening partnerships with universities, employers, and Indigenous communities, while fostering a culturally safe, high-performing, and student-centred environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about Indigenous student success, workforce development, and creating meaningful long-term impact.
In this role, you will:
- Lead regional program delivery and performance outcomes across student progression, internship activation, and graduate employment pathways
- Develop and lead a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, accountability, and capability building
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with universities, and community stakeholders
- Strengthen workforce pipeline strategies by aligning student capability and readiness with employer demand
- Use data, insights, and performance trends to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery
- Champion practices and meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities
- Navigate complex and fast-paced environments with a solutions-focused and adaptable mindset
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering programs with measurable outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
- Experience managing workforce development, student success, career pathways, or related programs
- Proven ability to coach and develop staff capability
- Strong operational leadership and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience using data and insights to improve performance outcomes
- A commitment to culturally aware practices and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities
Qualifications & experience we’re seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Education, Business, Leadership, Indigenous Studies, Public Policy, or similar
- Experience leading regional or multi-site teams and programs highly regarded
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
