The Clinical Nurse II/Hematology Nurse Navigator facilitates clinical and transitional activities for new and established adult patients in the outpatient Hematology, Blood & Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program. Duties include but are not limited to clinical review of incoming patient referrals and facilitating hospital admissions and discharges.

This nurse is experienced and highly skilled with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the cancer disease process, the major treatment modalities for multiple disease groups, symptom management, supportive care, and patient education. This nurse utilizes advanced interdisciplinary communication skills to ensure safe and expedient treatment and follow up care. The nurse is recognized and utilized as a clinical resource and demonstrates investment in the overall growth of the unit and the organization.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).
