Description
The Department of French of Columbia University invites applications for a position at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline (French) to begin July 1, 2024. This is a full-time, one-year appointment. Teaching responsibilities will comprise the first three years of French instruction, including beginning and intermediate French and French conversation and may include advanced undergraduate writing and content courses.
Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required: Ph.D.
Minimum Qualifications: Native or near-native fluency in French; 5 years teaching experience of French as a second/foreign language (college-level experience required); expertise in current methodologies and culture-based instruction, including integration of technology in the classroom.
