Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for new Repository Team Leader (Enlighten Services) to join the University’s Information Services.
In this role you will ensure delivery of all operational aspects of the University of Glasgow’s open repositories, notably ‘Enlighten: Publications’, ‘Enlighten: Theses’, ‘Enlighten: Dissertations’, and ‘EdShare’, Glasgow’s open educational resources repository. You will support the implementation of strategic goals and research exercises involving repository content and metadata, including within the UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) and within the wider open research ecosystem. The delivery of expert advice and guidance to key stakeholders on best sectoral practice will be required, as will the ability to make key operational decisions in support of the Enlighten services.
In furtherance of the institutional desire for exceptional repository services, you will also be expected to work closely with members of the adjacent Research Information Management (RIM) team and Archives & Special Collections (ASC), to ensure a coherent service offering to University users.
As part of Team UofG you will be a member of a world changing, inclusive community, which values ambition, excellence, integrity and curiosity.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- A warm welcoming and engaging organisational culture, where your talents are developed and nurtured, and success is celebrated and shared.

We believe that we can only reach our full potential through the talents of all. Equality, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our values. Applications are particularly welcome from across our communities and in particular people from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented within the University.
