Overview
The Research and Development of piezoelectric actuators and motors for high accuracy motion generation (Mechanical Engineering) topic at VILNIUS TECH will cover development of novel designs of piezoelectric actuators and motors which are focused on high accuracy orientation and driving of different loads like optical mirrors, lenses and filters as well as samples under high resolution microscopes and etc.
What you'll learn
Research activities will be focused on numerical and experimental investigations of piezoelectric actuators, indication of their mechanical and electro-mechanical characteristics as well as development, numerical and experimental confirmation of control and driving strategies considering that actuator/motor is composed from several bodies and is under affect of low and mid-frequency destabilization factors or actuator/motor target application environment is space environment or CubeSats.
