According to the Polish regulations, Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, Institute of Civil Engineering searches for the candidate for the position of research and teaching assistant. The ideal candidate should have a Msc, Ing in the field of engineering and technology, the area of building structures design.

Research Field: Engineering » Civil engineering
Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- A professional Master of Science in Civil Engineering,
- Experience in teaching in Polish in the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures,
- Publications in the form of peer-reviewed scientific articles or professional achievements in the field of structural design are considered an advantage,
- Knowledge of Polish and English at a level sufficient to teach in both languages and write scientific articles,
- Skills in using AutoCAD, Robot, or Dlubal RFEM software, or other software used in the design of building structures,
- Knowledge of MS Office,
- Ability to work in a team,
- Industry-specific design certifications in the structural engineering field will be an additional advantage.
Specific Requirements
The position covers three main areas: research, teaching, scientific cooperation. The candidate should also give the instructions and supervise the students’ homeworks. Minimum 240-hour contract per academic year.
