"Research and Teaching Position in Agrifood Technology and Biomass Valorization"

Description of the position:

• Preparation of research activities in agrifood technology
• Assistance in the teaching activities as a team member of biomass valorization program at UM6P-ASARI, to support courses related to:
  • Food technology (for farmers).
  • Biorefinery
  • Technology Instrumental process and product control.
• Assistance in the internal and external services of the department.
• Research proposal writing for external funding
• Strong expertise and international network in Agrifood science
• Supervision of Master-students, PhDs.
• Manuscript writing and publication in peer-reviewed journal.

Education

Ph.D. in Agrifood science or related field from a recognized University

Requirement

• 3-5 years’ experience in the field of Agrifood science
• High publication record in leading international and well ranked journals
• Strong experience in supervising Master and PhD students.
• High interested in applied research.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary research team.
• Ability to initiate, conduct, and publish research results in a scientific manner and to attract external funding.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to communicate fluently in English.
