The other campus of the university is situated at Diphu in the district of Karbi Anglong, Assam. The university has territorial jurisdiction over the five districts of Assam viz., Cachar, Karimganj, Hailakandi, Dima Hasao (erstwhile North Cachar Hills), and Karbi Anglong.

Project Title: Digital Archiving of Dimasa Language and Cultural Heritage

Funded By: Indian Council of Social Sciences Research (ICSSR)

Qualification:

• Research Assistant – PhD/MPhil/Postgraduate in Linguistics/Sociology/Anthropology with minimum 55% marks. Candidates having specialisation/research experience in Field Linguistics/Ethnolinguistics/Language Documentation with competence/knowledge of Dimasa language is desirable.
• Field Investigator – Postgraduate in Linguistics/Sociology/Anthropology with minimum 55% marks. Candidates having specialisation/research experience in Field Linguistics/Ethnolinguistics/Language Documentation.

Candidate Profile:

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication.
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students.
• The candidate should have good research record.

Pay Scale:

• Research Assistant – Rs. 16000/-pm
• Field Investigator – Rs. 15000/-pm
