Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Amy Choong Mei Fun on food waste and behavioural research under a project on Educational interventions to enhance waste awareness and minimization.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Overseeing surveys conducted by students
- Ensuring the accuracy of data collected
- Handling and keeping records of appreciation vouchers for participants
- Data processing and analysis
- Assisting the researchers and students
- Other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in fields relating to environmental sciences/life sciences/data sciences/social sciences.
Skills:
- Data analysis skills (technical knowledge in R programming or similar software is required).
- Prior experience in conducting social behavioural research (including the theory of planned behaviour).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good organizational skills.
- Being able to carry out independent field work.
Experience:
Basic understanding of theory of planned behaviour, social studies on food sustainability and waste.
