Position available within the project PN-IV-P2-2.1-TE-[contact details available in the full listing], entitled In vivo mapping and attenuation of inflammation using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs conjugated with antioxidant peptides
The Research Assistant will contribute to the implementation of the experimental activities within the project entitled “In Vivo Mapping and Mitigation of Inflammation Using Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Conjugated with Antioxidant Peptides.”
The position will involve the preparation and execution of in vitro and in vivo experiments, handling and analysis of biological samples, performing biochemical and/or molecular assays, as well as processing and interpreting experimental data. The successful candidate will also support the documentation of results, preparation of scientific reports, and dissemination of research findings, while ensuring compliance with experimental protocols and applicable biosafety and research ethics standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biochemistry;
- Master’s degree in Biology (Medical Biology/Molecular Biotechnology);
- PhD student in Biology;
- Advanced level of English;
- Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience;
- Experience/competence in the synthesis and characterization of drug–peptide/protein conjugates, in vitro evaluation of their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, as well as in the preparation and dissemination of scientific results;
- Fulfilment of the standards established for the position of Research Assistant, as set out in the Methodology for the Competition for Filling Vacant Teaching and Research Positions at Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca.
