Research Assistant - Comprehensive Cancer Center

Functions as a Research Assistant to provide support of daily operations in a research laboratory; assists with research activities under direct supervision in collaboration with other students and lab staff, report results and prepare presentations; assists with collection of and organizes research data; prepares media, solutions, and reagents for use in experiments; performs and maintains cell cultures; conducts library research; washes glassware used in laboratory; autoclaves (sterilizes) glassware, tools and equipment as needed; assists with inventory and maintenance of research supplies, performs immunohistochemistry, performs western blot. Must be willing to work in a team environment.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
