Job Summary:
The assistant director of research performs and manages research to proactively and systematically identify and rate new prospects and develop cultivation and solicitation strategies with the frontline fundraisers. The assistant director of research also closely monitors the performance of development's prospect pool and makes recommendations based on wealth and asset ratings. The assistant director of research is a research professional with management experience and is responsible for all aspects of prospect research to include providing aggressive, detailed, and comprehensive research; creating personal profiles; and interacting with all development officers and alumni engagement officers. The assistant director of research will help manage and maintain records in the current database system, assisting with individual and large-scale data updates. The assistant director of research will also assist with gift processing as needed.
