About the role
We’re looking for a Research Assistant to join our team and help shape the future of health informatics. You’ll play a key role in conducting qualitative research, engaging with participants, and analysing data to produce actionable findings. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality research that makes a difference.
This is a part-time post (18.5 hours per week), funded until 31 August 2028, with the possibility of extension. The salary will be Grade 6b, £38,607 - £41,255 inclusive of London Allowance pro rata per annum.

About you

You’ll have:
- A degree (MSc, BSc) in a health-related discipline, or an unrelated degree but with relevant professional experience.
- Experience of analysing qualitative data using appropriate methods and techniques (e.g. thematic analysis, discourse analysis, narrative analysis) including interviews, workshops and focus groups.
- Experience of evidence synthesis including systematic reviews.
- Data analysis skills and the proven ability to learn appropriate data analytic software for qualitative (NVivo) research.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in managing participant interactions
- A proactive and innovative approach to research
