Organization Profile: Established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Section 25 of 2009) as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name since changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is an institution of higher learning in the state of Bihar. With the motto, i.e. ‘Collective Reasoning’ the University has been conducting its academic and administrative activities from temporary premises in Patna and Gaya and looking forward to shifting to the permanent campus on a 300-acre plot of land at Panchanpur (near Gaya town).

Project Title: Modeling the cascading impact on food security due to debris flow induced disruptions in mountainous road network

Essential Qualifications:

A. Research Assistant – Ph.D. /M.Phil./ Post Graduate in any Social Science/ Science discipline with minimum 55% marks with NET in the relevant subject.
B. Field Assistant- Post Graduate in any Social Science/ Science Discipline with minimum 55 % marks

Desirable: The ideal candidate for the Research Assistant position should have a solid understanding of machine learning, proficiency in a programming language such as Python or R, and be skilled in using Microsoft Office. Additionally, strong computer skills, effective communication abilities, and fluency in both English and Hindi are essential for reporting purposes.
For the Field Assistant role, candidates are expected to conduct field visits and primary surveys in the Eastern Himalayan regions of India. Therefore, familiarity with these areas is required.

• The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record
