We are looking to recruit a motivated, full-time Research Assistant to join Prof Menna Clatworthy in the University of Cambridge Department of Medicine (www.med.cam.ac.uk/clatworthy/).

The post holder will assist researchers within the Clatworthy research group on a variety of projects, and depending on their level of experience may be given a specific project to work semi-independently on. The post holder will report to the senior post-doc in the group and directly to Prof Menna Clatworthy. The post holder will also play a more general role in organising the availability of consumables within the group and among ongoing research projects.

The appointee will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in biological science, ideally in Science related field, or appropriate experience or equivalent qualification and/or experience. Knowledge of the day to day workings of an immunology laboratory, including microscopy, tissue culture and molecular biology would be desirable. Sufficient skills to gain a Home Office personal license and Training Modules 1-3.

Fixed term: This post is until 30th March 2027 in the first instance.

Informal enquiries are welcome and can be directed to Prof Menna Clatworthy (mrc38@cam.ac.uk).
