Research Assistant (Food Science & Technology)

Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Liu Mei Hui on a Human Biomonitoring project on metabolic health and exposomes.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Human Study coordination and support
• Analysis of biological samples and results

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (Preferably in Food Science & Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Nutrition, Dietetics or Public Health).

Skills:

• Laboratory and sample-handling techniques for biological biomonitoring.
• Data analysis and statistical software proficiency (e.g., R, Microsoft Excel).
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
• Scientific research, documentation, and report-writing skills.

Experience:

One to three years experience in:

• handling biological samples in laboratory or field settings.
• data collection, entry, and statistical analysis for research projects.
• preparing research documentation, reports, or literature reviews.
